Freesia-scented Lilies x 10 bulbs
Two fantastic lily varieties supplied direct from one of the top 10 breeders in the world. Cali and Triumphator are LO varieties: a cross between a Longiflorum and an Oriental. The result is an elegant tubular bloom with a lighter FREESIA fragrance than the heady perfume of traditional Orientals. These lilies are very hardy and the bulbs grow bigger each year resulting in taller plants year on year. A wonderful combination of fragrance and height and a delight to display in a vase indoors. Grow them through shrubs in borders, against walls and fences, or in large pots for the patio, and let them look after themselves. They come into flower more quickly than Orientals so you could be enjoying stunning flowers just 12 weeks after planting. Flowers: summer. Height to 1m.
Cali produces large buds, up to 20cm long, and 2-4 buds on its tall stems. The buds open into luxurious, waxy white flowers with each petal delicately blushed in pink. The blooms are more open that traditional Longiflorum lilies and the freesia fragrance is astonishing.
Triumphator produces beautiful pure-white trumpet blooms with an eye-catching wine-red centre. When open, the blooms measure up to 20cm across! This is a cross between Longiflorum and a Stargazer type Oriental lily with a beautiful fragrance thats most pronounced on warm sunny days.
You will receive a mixture of both varieties. Supplied as good-sized bulbs (14/16cm circumference).
